Quieter – but clearer than ever: a personal look back at 2025

We are in the wonderful and healing Christmas season. One of those times when everything slows down – at least externally – and internally, many things begin to sort themselves out. You've already felt it for the past 6 months, things have become quieter for me externally. My Instagram was silent. Not because I lacked inspiration – but because I lacked the peace to put it into words. And without inner peace, nothing lasting is created.

This year has demanded a lot from me. Not in the sense of "fighting" – I want to let go of that word – but in carrying. Carrying responsibility. For a child. For a growing business. For people who orient themselves, come along, sometimes even stand still. I have learned that growth not only means joy but also weight. What was once small and manageable has grown larger. With this growth came pride – but also the realization that not everyone is willing to share the responsibility. Many want to be part of something, but not everyone wants to stand up for it. And I realized: I no longer want to hold everything. I already hold enough.

As a single mother, I bear responsibility in my private life – where there are no breaks. And I bear responsibility professionally – where decisions have an impact. Both have shaped me. Both have allowed me to grow. But both have also shown me how important boundaries are. I want to use my energy consciously. Where it originates – not where it is lost.

"My clients give me energy. Their stories, their wishes, their dreams. That's what I live for. That's what I create for."

This year was a rethinking.
A shedding. An inner molting in the year of the snake. Perhaps a final act in a cycle that is closing. I wish for a team that lives the GISELLE philosophy. People who are not just looking for a job, but see meaning in creation. Work should fulfill. Growth should nourish. Responsibility should connect. We are here to grow. To create. And that is precisely where the deepest form of fulfillment lies – just as in motherhood. Nothing about it is comfortable. But everything about it is real.

In my family, I was given a thought early on: True freedom comes from what you create yourself. My great-grandfather built something great out of nothing. Not because it was easy – but because his vision was clear. When asked why he did all this, he simply said: "I want to be free & independent."

He worked hard for this freedom. And passed it on. But it was only passed on enough for one to learn to fly oneself. For only self-earned money is true money. A sentence I heard regularly since my youngest childhood years. But perhaps I would never have found my own courage if it had been easier. For my son, however, I wish for a softer path. One that connects more than it separates.

When I look back on this year,
I don't just see what was difficult. Above all, I see what has become clearer.

Protecting thoughts. Creating space for myself.
For stillness. For creativity. For what nourishes my soul.

For my son – first and foremost.
For my clients.
For my work as a designer. And a team at eye level.
Everything else can become quieter.

Perhaps it's fitting that one of the first topics I want to bring to you in the new year will be the Pinky Rings. A piece of jewelry that has long been underestimated. So feminine. So quiet. So powerful. For me, the Pinky Ring is a quiet reminder:
I don't have to carry everything. I can also just be.

A valued client – also a single mother, very successful professionally – recently told me that she wished for this ring as a sign to herself. She meant, very much in the spirit of: "I thank myself for believing in me..." I had to smile inwardly, because it was the most apt thing I could imagine.

How often do we actually tell ourselves that?
Perhaps we should tell ourselves more often. I thank myself for....

A look ahead

In the new year, I want to consciously reconnect – also on Instagram.
In peace. With inspiration & depth. Less private, more of what truly defines me: jewelry, gemstones, shapes, materials, and daily elegance. The creation process. The fine details. The magic of craftsmanship. I wish for a virtual place where beauty and meaning can again be given time.

As the first for the new year, as a sign of gratitude to oneself, I am launching the long-awaited Pinky Ring series "Petite Posh". A small, elegant piece of jewelry with a big impact. Feminine, confident, and timeless. A ring for every day – with many possibilities to personalize it. A silent reminder that we are allowed to see ourselves.

Already by mid/late January, one of my biggest passion projects will follow: the new GISELLE Wedding Ring Collection. In 2025, we were already able to accompany and make many couples happy – and these very conversations sparked a deep wave of inspiration in me. Wedding rings are more than jewelry. They are promises, essence, and the story of two loving people.

I consciously wanted to expand this world. To create space for different couples, life plans, and personalities – captured in timeless classics. Each design speaks its own language. And we accompany each couple with sensitivity in their search for their perfect ring.

Final words: Clarity, Trust & Grace

When I look back on this year, I don't just see what was challenging.
Above all, I see what has grown. Within me. In my company. In my clarity. I have learned to bear responsibility – and no longer want to bear it alone. I have learned to protect my focus. And I have learned that true strength is quiet.

Perhaps that is precisely my wish for the coming year – for me and for you:
more trust in one's own path. more inner clarity. and the grace to remain true to oneself.

With love,
Giselle
